Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist

Achieve high-performance asset management by leading the development, assignment, and maintenance of strategies for field instrumentation equipment. This role supports asset reliability through the creation and implementation of effective equipment maintenance strategies.

Purpose & Objectives:

  • Perform comprehensive engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g., transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Develop knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring tasks related to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards is essential.
  • Skilled instrument technicians with expertise in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Instrumentation and electrical maintenance and inspection.
  • Field instrumentation.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

Educational Qualification:

  • University Degree in Instrumentation and Control/Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or related full-time university degree.
