Job Role: Process Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all plant sections, including crushing, screening, grinding, flotation, filtration, drying, sieving, and packing.
  • Monitor daily production and output recovery.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, lab, quality, and dispatch teams.

Manpower and Shift Handling:

  • Plan manpower allocation across shifts.
  • Maintain discipline, attendance, and safety compliance.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and shift briefings.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Security:

  • Enforce PPE usage and safety norms.
  • Keep the plant clean, obstruction-free, and secure.
  • Prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or pilferage.

Equipment and Maintenance:

  • Check the daily health of equipment, motors, pumps, conveyors, mills, and compressors.
  • Report breakdowns and support the maintenance team.
  • Record downtime and idle time.

Stock and Materials:

  • Supervise loading and unloading of raw and finished goods.
  • Raise requisitions and prevent wastage, damage, or mix-up.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain registers for production, engagement, breakdown, idle time.
  • Submit daily and shift-wise reports.
  • Keep records ready for audits and inspections.

Welfare and Emergency Support:

  • Ensure clean water, first aid, and hygiene.
  • Help injured or sick workers get immediate medical help.

Education Requirements:

  • BSc in Science, Industrial Chemistry, Mineral Processing, or related fields.
  • ITI in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Process Plant Maintenance.
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Production, Mineral Processing, Chemical, Industrial Safety.
  • BTech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Mineral Processing, Chemical, Metallurgy.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge, proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Discipline, punctuality, honesty, sincerity, and responsibility.
  • Proactivity, alertness, and quick decision-making.
  • Physical fitness and mental alertness.
  • Non-alcoholic and maintain workplace discipline.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and stay near the plant site.

Salary Range:

  • Fresher (1-2 years experience): ₹12,000 - ₹15,000 per month.
  • Experienced (2-5 years experience): ₹18,000 - ₹20,000 per month.
  • Senior Experienced (5-10 years experience): ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month.
  • Lead (10-12 years experience): ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month.
  • Manager (12-15 years experience): ₹30,000 - ₹35,000 per month.
  • Director (15 years and above): ₹35,000 and above per month.
