Operations Manager, Logistics Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, build and execute transportation processes from Fulfillment Centers to customers.
  • Responsible for hiring, training and building a highly motivated workforce for Sort Center teams.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, Fulfillment Centers and Projects teams to matters related to SC operations.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day floor operations in the shift. The incumbent will ensure all standard operating procedures are followed, monitor key metrics and carry regular audits to motivate the team to bring maximum efficiency & output on floor.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English language (read, write, speak)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The candidate should have a basic understanding of logistics space and be able to communicate clearly in both written and oral form.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and/or referring to performance metrics to drive team performance and business results.
  • Identifying business impact of trends and making data backed decisions.
  • Communicating with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Finance, Ops Excellence, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Escalating problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and following through on resolutions.

A Day in the Life:

Managing the Day-to-day floor operations in the shift(Day/Night). Additionally ensure all standard operating procedures are followed. Monitor on all the key metrics. Carry regular audits, follow mechanisms and ensure to motivate the team to bring maximum efficiency & output on floor.
