Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced operations leader with an MBA to lead our logistics operations in Ahmedabad.

This is a crucial role that requires ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain, with a strong focus on both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of operational processes, and a keen eye for process improvements and cost optimization.

  • Maintain constant communication with teams and stakeholders to ensure proper functioning of operations.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of logistics operations, including ocean export/import and air export/import.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality protocols to ensure service excellence.
  • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance internal capacity and profitability.
  • Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget, with a keen eye on cost optimization.
  • Involve in solving issues at escalation levels, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Conduct regular checkpoints at all operational levels to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage all shipments from end-to-end.
  • Deal effectively with customer requirements, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with carriers and customs clearance brokers to facilitate smooth logistics.
  • Deal effectively with agents worldwide, fostering strong international partnerships.
  • Ensure that processes and employees are working smoothly and efficiently, fostering a productive work environment.
  • Cultivate and maintain good relationships with shipping partners.
  • Able to build and mentor a new team of operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Track sales reports and prepare comprehensive managerial reports as per company requirements, providing data-driven insights.
