Head of Global Compensation and Rewards Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to lead our compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy. This role will focus on establishing a standardized global compensation framework, driving differentiated rewards programs, and managing key aspects such as job architecture, compensation benchmarking, short-term incentive programs (STIPs), long-term incentive programs (LTIPs), and global benefits administration.

Job Overview:

The Head of Total Rewards will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global compensation and rewards strategy aligned with business goals and competitive market practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Global Compensation Strategy: Create and implement a global compensation framework that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Oversee Rewards Programs: Design and manage differentiated rewards programs, including STIPs, LTIPs, and executive compensation, to drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Develop Job Architecture Model: Establish a comprehensive job architecture model to ensure consistent and equitable job classifications, structures, and career progression paths across the organization.
  • Conduct Global Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct regular compensation benchmarking to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent in the IT services industry.
  • Administer Global Benefits Programs: Manage global benefits programs, ensuring consistency and competitiveness across regions while aligning with employee needs and organizational goals.
  • Provide Analytical Support: Provide detailed analytical support and insights for compensation planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including the preparation of costing models for compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to evaluate and recommend compensation solutions that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.
  • Lead Communication: Lead the communication of total rewards programs to employees, ensuring clarity, understanding, and alignment with organizational culture.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international compensation regulations, and monitor any legislative changes that may impact compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage Team: Manage and develop a team of Total Rewards professionals, ensuring continuous development and delivery of high-quality work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ Years Experience in Compensation and Benefits: Proven experience in a senior Total Rewards or Compensation and Benefits leadership role, preferably within a global IT services or technology company.
  • Strong Expertise in Compensation Framework: Strong expertise in establishing and managing a global compensation framework, job architecture, and rewards strategy.
  • Compensation Benchmarking: In-depth experience with compensation benchmarking, STIPs, LTIPs, and executive compensation practices.
  • Benefits Administration: Strong background in global benefits administration, including the design and management of benefits packages across different regions.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, including experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and present ideas persuasively to senior management.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and mentor a team, providing leadership and guidance on Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global compensation regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications in compensation, benefits, or total rewards (e.g., CCP, GRP) are highly desirable.
