Description:

  • We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Engineer. Your primary focus will be on simulating the site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio while ensuring the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.
  • You will re-assess existing and planned wind farms using an internal tool chain to confirm compatibility and turbine-specific structural integrity.
  • Additionally, you will assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and run bucket approaches to optimize results.
  • You will create benefit calculations, drive validation campaigns, and initiate upgrade implementation.
  • Collaboration with global service regions and after-sales colleagues is crucial in convincing customers and stakeholders of the value proposition.
  • Your impact will be measurable, driving business performance and building a network within the company and industry.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organizations.
  • Possess highly analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic, with the ability to bring topics to success in complex environments.
  • Optional: WindPRO and Python experience, knowledge of wind turbine technology.
