Job Title: Senior Site Operations Specialist

As a Senior Site Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the site reporting structure and ensuring progress monitoring. This involves finalizing progress reporting formats and frequency with the client, providing training to site team contractor representatives as necessary, and coordinating with site teams and contractors to prepare schedules that meet timelines in the master schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with site teams and contractors to prepare schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera, and MS Excel to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Work out manpower requirements against project timelines and communicate these to contractors.
  • Prepare Look Ahead schedules on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis and share them with site teams and contractors.
  • Determine critical paths and highlight concerns to project managers, construction managers, and project control managers that may impact project timelines.
  • Identify bottlenecks such as approval delays, clearance decisions pending from clients, and provide recovery methods such as increasing manpower or working extra hours.

The fundamental responsibility of this role is to provide early warnings to site project managers, construction managers, and project control managers if there is a probability of project delay. Additionally, you will provide inputs for preparing weekly, fortnightly, or monthly progress reports and develop recovery plans in case of delays to get the project back on track.

Qualifications:
  • BE in Mechanical with 5 years of experience in Project Control.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of MSP, Primavera.
