Procurement Specialist Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely availability of fabricated equipment and raw materials for ongoing projects.
  • Negotiate fair prices for ordered items.
  • Review project requirements and technical specifications for procured items.
  • Issue and administer purchase orders through ERP systems as per project schedules.
  • Track order progress and ensure timely delivery of procurement items in line with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Engineering, Projects, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Work closely with Projects and Engineering teams for technical clearance and uninterrupted material supply.
  • Coordinate with Commercial for documentation required for dispatches and out-to-out consignments.
  • Conduct vendor visits to follow up on critical items.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate procurement activities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Procurement Planning: Plan and execute procurement strategies to meet project deadlines.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and optimize costs associated with procurement activities.
