Job Responsibilities:
  1. Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.
  2. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data for various applications.
  3. Provision, configure, and manage Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.
  4. Design, implement, and monitor HA/DR strategies such as Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and failover groups to ensure business continuity and data resilience.
  5. Plan and execute robust backup and restore operations, validate recovery procedures, and ensure compliance with Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
