Senior SQL Server Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team in managing, securing, and optimizing SQL Server environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement Azure SQL Subscription services to support business growth.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring to improve system efficiency.
  • Configure and maintain disaster recovery, backups, and high availability solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and monitor security policies, access controls, and compliance standards to protect data integrity.
  • Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL, ensuring seamless transition.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with a proven track record.
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues to resolve complex problems.
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations to ensure optimal database management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing, securing, and optimizing SQL Server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to drive business success.
