Cloud Database Engineer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud databases using Microsoft Azure services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud databases using Azure services such as SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage
  • Develop and maintain efficient database solutions using Azure services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, best practices, and technologies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in database administration with a focus on cloud platforms
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure services, including SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage
  • Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Azure or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
