Database Technical Lead Position

This is a high-level leadership role in the database development team where you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring your colleagues to deliver high-quality projects. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in database development, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the database development team to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Design, develop, test, release, maintain, and support database development initiatives
  • Create new and review existing PL/SQL packages, procedures to facilitate development efforts
  • Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for speed and resource utilization
  • Develop strategies to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in database development
  • Exceptional leadership and management abilities
  • Able to foster collaborative relationships within cross-functional teams
  • 6-10 years' experience in database development
  • Proven experience in leading teams
  • Familiarity with product-based software is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (required)
  • Master's degree is a plus
