Job Title:
Database Developer and Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer and Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain databases to support business growth and success.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.Ensure databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores.Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.Work with the security team to ensure database security.Manage database migrations between servers and versions.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases.Work with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance.Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.Collaborate with other IT team members, including the development team, to ensure system availability and performance.Create Change Management Requests with IT and Development.Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.Provide Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.Work with the development team members for AI integrations.Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.Ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards.Implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.Experience with database migrations and deployments.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills.Ability to work during US Central time zone hours.Experience working with vendor support is a plus.Familiarity with Change Management processes.Experience supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.Experience providing Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.Familiarity with AI integrations.Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.Experience in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Location: Ahmedabad / Vadodara (WFO)
