About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Web Development Team Lead to spearhead our frontend initiatives. Our agritech platform connects farmers directly to consumers through three web apps.

  • An admin React.js web app for farm management
  • A React Native mobile app for delivery drivers
  • A React Native mobile app for end customers

Our Version 2.0 is on the horizon, bringing significant enhancements in user experience and performance.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Team Lead, you will:

  1. Lead the development, architecture, and maintenance of all frontend applications (admin, driver, customer)
  2. Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to rapidly deliver new features
  3. Own and champion code quality, maintainability, and performance across projects
  4. Mentor and review code for junior engineers to uphold development excellence
  5. Advocate for modern frontend best practices, with an emphasis on automated testing, accessibility, and usability
  6. Drive innovation in UI/UX—quickly prototype and implement the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys
Requirements

To be successful as a Frontend Team Lead, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in React.js and React Native app development
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI)
  • Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD)
  • Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration
