We are seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with unions and employees, ensuring a harmonious working environment.

This role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws and statutory obligations, as well as submitting annual returns. The individual will also build and maintain relationships with local authorities, government officials, and community leaders.

A strong understanding of domestic labor laws and industrial relations practices is essential for this position. Experience with POSH compliance and training, as well as expertise in statutory compliance and annual return submissions, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability in local and government liaison, strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and knowledge of the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with unions and employees to ensure a harmonious working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory obligations.
  • Submit annual returns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Handle domestic laws, POSH regulations, and other HR-related legal matters.
  • Address and resolve local issues effectively, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Negotiate with unions, address grievances, and manage collective bargaining agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Gujarati language (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of domestic labor laws and industrial relations practices.
  • Experience with POSH compliance and training.
  • Expertise in statutory compliance and annual return submissions.
  • Proven ability in local and government liaison.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing sector.
