Job Title: Import Specialist

At the forefront of global trade, we seek a skilled professional to lead end-to-end import operations for Finished Goods and Packaging Materials. Key responsibilities include vendor coordination, logistics, customs clearance, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and oversee Finished Goods registration with regulatory bodies as per requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Legal Metrology Act, labelling, and other statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless import clearance.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of import documentation, licenses, and regulatory filings.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align import timelines with business needs.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with overseas suppliers, government authorities, and regulatory consultants.
  • Monitor and update management on changing import/export regulations and global compliance requirements.
  • Represent the company in international business meetings, vendor audits, and regulatory discussions; frequent travel to China and other countries will be required.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization strategies in imports, logistics, and customs duty.
