We are seeking a highly skilled Software Packaging Expert to join our team. As a key member of our software development department, you will be responsible for system integrations across desktop, cloud server, and AVD technology platforms.

This role involves developing packaging solutions for desktop and server platforms, as well as converting legacy applications and utilities using tools like Numecent, MSIX, PSApp Deploy, Ansible, and containerization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement modern packaging solutions
  • Conduct planning, requirements analysis, pre and post-implementation support, and maintenance
  • Develop and execute test plans prior to software deployment
  • Maintain documentation of all customizations and changes made during the packaging process
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in software packaging, application development, and deployment within a physical and virtual environment
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, .MSI, .MST, .MSP, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar scripting and database tools
  • Experience with automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products
  • Deep understanding of implementing and supporting application virtualization, streaming, layering, and paging technologies on AVD environments
  • Expertise in application packaging and deploying through Intune Management, application model, and containers
  • In-depth experience of Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server)
