Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a professional services delivery engineer to deliver private cloud infrastructure solutions into Enterprise and SME clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on technical skills with experience and consulting skills to understand, shape, and deliver against customer requirements.

  • Strong technical expert with experience working complex projects from inception to delivery.
  • Experience working in an engineering role delivering automated, secure, and robust private cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Happy to get involved in all levels of technical discussions from architecture to hands-on coding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with customer engineering teams on VMware projects (migration, automation, containerization).
  • Writing infrastructure as code (vRealize Automation).
  • VMware environment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Meeting customer service level agreements and managing communication in case of issues.
  • Configuring and maintaining storage and backup systems for multiple clients.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Strong knowledge of managed private cloud including cloud native approaches, networking background.
  • Key managed cloud IaaS components - compute, networking, storage, traffic management, API gateways, observability.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tool-chains.
  • 8+ years experience in a development or infrastructure operations team for critical IT infrastructure.

Additional skills include system administration experience, storage and backup knowledge, databases, and caching layers.
