Job Description

As a Senior Quality Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in castings and metal components. You will be responsible for coordinating with third-party inspection agencies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP), and conducting a variety of internal and external quality tests.

You will have hands-on experience in both destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) and be skilled in the calibration and use of precision instruments.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Inspection: Visual Inspection, Dimensional Inspection, Hydrostatic Pressure Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Documentation & Reporting: Preparation and review of inspection reports (internal and third-party)
  • Coordination & Communication: Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors
  • Quality Assurance Plans (QAP): Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements
  • Internal Testing & Lab Analysis: Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors, Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis), Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing
  • Technical Collaboration: Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories
  • Heat Treatment Process: Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings
