Job Description:

The Head of Cleaning Excellence is responsible for developing and implementing all cleaning operations across a corporate campus. This role involves managing a team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for cleaning services that aligns with overall objectives.
  • Establish performance metrics to measure and improve cleaning quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the budget for the cleaning department, including labor costs and equipment procurement.
  • Forecast and manage capital expenditures for cleaning equipment and operational expenditures for consumables.

Operational Excellence and Quality Assurance:

  • Implement standardized cleaning protocols and procedures for all facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage technology to optimize workflows and track service delivery.
  • Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage a team of cleaning staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs covering best practices and safety protocols.
  • Create and manage work schedules and monitor team performance.
  • Handle all aspects of HR, including recruitment, hiring, and professional development.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Implement infection prevention and control measures to maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Regularly review and update safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cleaning schedules and safety compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cleaning or facility management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and industry best practices.
  • Expertise in health, safety, and sanitation regulations and compliance.
