Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and experience with Teradata SQL, Stored Procedures, Snowflake, and Unix shell scripting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement database solutions based on specifications received from the project team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project expectations and deliver high-quality results.
  • Propose innovative technical solutions to address business needs and improve overall efficiency.
  • Implement best practices, coding standards, and development culture to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain complex Teradata SQL code to meet project requirements.
  • Experience in working with Teradata tools such as BTEQ, Fast load, TPT, Macros, and Procedures is highly desirable.
  • Able to automate tasks using Unix shell script or Python to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.

Required Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python
  • Databases: Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Snowflake, Data Modelling
  • Utilities: Teradata BTEQ, Fast load, and TPT

  • Participation in code reviews and provision of constructive feedback to peers
  • Troubleshooting and debugging database issues to minimize downtime and ensure system stability
