Workforce Strategist:

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient and compliant management of our workforce at manufacturing facilities. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, statutory compliance, legal liaison, HR policy formulation, and fostering positive employee relations.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in human resources with at least 12 to 15 years of experience, with at least 5-6 of those years spent leading plant HR activities is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in compliance coordination, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Active participation and anchoring of manpower planning and organizational structuring at manufacturing facilities are essential.
  2. Coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team and fulfilling vacancies at manufacturing facilities are critical tasks.
  3. Ensuring effective induction and integration of new employees into their respective functions is a key responsibility.
  4. Maintaining secure employee records and safeguarding personal files of all employees and FTEs at manufacturing facilities is crucial.
  5. Compliance with various legislations at manufacturing facilities, corporate office, and branch offices is mandatory.
  6. Proactive measures to prevent potential litigations against the Company are necessary.
  7. Closely coordinating with lawyer(s) and labour law consultants is expected.
  8. Implementing digitization of compliances and managing labour contractors and contract labour at manufacturing facilities are key objectives.
  9. Effective implementation of HR policies and processes at manufacturing facilities is a primary responsibility.
  10. Building a sound knowledge and understanding of all regulatory requirements from an HR point of view is necessary.
  11. Preparing HR policies and processes to comply with regulatory requirements and maintaining records prudently is essential.
  12. Leading the HR function during regulatory audits and creating, approving, and maintaining all HR-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at plants is important.
