High-Performance Database Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Exadata expert to lead our database operations and ensure seamless performance across critical systems. As a key member of our advisory services team, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of complex Oracle RDBMS environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle Exadata systems, with experience in administering and optimizing compute nodes, storage cells, and InfiniBand networks. Additionally, they should have hands-on expertise in managing Oracle databases on OCI, including provisioning, patching, backup, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle technologies like RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools to ensure optimal system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Design and implement secure data pipelines and automate database management tasks using scripting or orchestration tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of production database support experience.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle Exadata systems, including administration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Multitenant (CDB/PDB).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred.
