Electrical and Instrumentation Professional

We seek a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Professional to spearhead electrical system efficiency and reliability at ENCON Thermal Engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics, sensors, and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts
  • Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters
  • Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems (preferably Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
  • Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning
  • Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site
  • Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, etc.)
  • HMI/SCADA development
  • VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics
  • Sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan (preferred), and Excel
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance
