The role of Cloud Infrastructure Strategist revolves around designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure utilizing cloud services. As a key team member, you will lead the development of cutting-edge solutions that ensure optimal performance, security, and efficiency.

• Architecture and Design: Drive the creation of robust architecture designs that align with industry best practices in scalability, reliability, and security.
• Infrastructure Management:
  • Spearhead the maintenance of applications and infrastructure, leveraging advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization.

• Collaborative Leadership:
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.

• Process Improvement:
  • Lead continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure seamless deployment of changes.

• CI/CD Development:
  • Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enhancing application deployment and release management processes.

• Automation of Provisioning:
  • Pioneering automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform to guarantee consistency and efficiency in deployments.

• Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Tuning:
  • Build comprehensive monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack, while implementing robust logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Security Compliance:
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments of systems and infrastructure to pinpoint vulnerabilities and enforce best security practices.

• Deployment Management:
  • Owning the deployment process, create detailed deployment artifacts including Deployment/Installation plans, capable of planning for rollbacks.

• Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of infrastructure configurations and changes; share knowledge on best practices, procedures, and processes.

• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide transparent status updates; communicate project progress and operational metrics effectively to team members and stakeholders.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, providing technical support for cloud-related issues.

• Industry Trends:
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in DevOps, SRE, and cloud environments; apply this knowledge to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud computing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• AWS Certified DevOps Architect is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud services, including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Proven experience in architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform.

• Advanced understanding of GitHub workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and collaboration techniques.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing and security best practices in cloud environments.

• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or the Loki Stack, capable of setting up comprehensive observability solutions.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a strong emphasis on proactive problem resolution.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities, demonstrating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and influence over stakeholders.
