Job Title: Chief Cloud Strategist

A leading cloud infrastructure and SaaS solutions provider is seeking a seasoned expert to lead their cloud financial management initiatives and drive operational excellence on the Azure platform.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Principal Cloud Engineer (Azure) to shape cloud service strategies, lead research and proof of concepts, and provide opinionated insights to influence offerings and internal best practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Cloud Cost Optimization
  • Designing secure & scalable cloud solutions
  • Managing Azure subscriptions and resources
  • Implementing cost-management strategies
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years in cloud operations with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Proven track record in Azure FinOps and cost optimization
  • Strong expertise across Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, SQL DB, AKS, Functions)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and pipelines

Bonus Requirements

  • Experience with third-party FinOps tools
  • Strong knowledge of Azure governance and compliance
  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Cloud Migration and Cloud Optimization experience
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure Security Center, Azure Advisor, Azure Sentinel
