Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a diversified portfolio of offerings.
  • Drive profitable growth and manage client relationships.
  • Lead large-scale modernization and migration initiatives.
  • Engage with clients to identify business opportunities and provide relevant solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for deployment of next-generation technology, solutions, services, and operational efficiencies.
Thought Leadership
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by creating point-of-view (POV) articles, white papers, and technical papers on advanced topics.
  • Publish and write case studies to highlight successful use cases and expertise.
  • Interact with clients at the solutioning stage prior to deal closure.
  • Position the Practice as a thought leader and engage with advisors and analysts.
Solution Development
  • Develop winning solutions in collaboration with other practices.
  • Build a strong pool of technologists and architects to bring practice technology thought leadership to solution development and implementation.
  • Determine right solution choices to ensure Wipro will be able to deliver the right solution with the right outcomes.
Delivery Management
  • Institutionalize the capabilities of Nex-Gen Solutions, including AI into the delivery teams.
  • Collaborate and influence internal key stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery of projects.
  • Monitor and review account/project health and take proactive measures to resolve issues.
Client Relationship Management
  • Drive high client satisfaction by creating strong value propositions for clients.
  • Partner with clients to drive transformation and instil new ways of working.
Capability Development and Talent Management
  • Spearhead demand forecasting and resource planning aligned to requirements.
  • Create and deploy a workforce plan to fulfill the required demand.
  • Build a strong talent pool and leadership pipeline.
Innovation and Modernization
  • Lead the evolution of the mainframe practice into hybrid/cloud and DevOps model.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep technical knowledge in their specific practice area.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and identify areas of opportunities.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and business development.
