Senior Financial Operations Specialist
Job Overview
As a key member of our Finance team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our organization. This individual will play a vital role in overseeing and managing various financial activities, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of intercompany balances and investments.
- Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and file GST returns, handle TDS/TCS compliance and return filings, and ensure accurate and timely filing of Professional Tax (PT) and Provident Fund (PF) returns.
- Financial Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare monthly MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets; develop monthly budgets in coordination with business requirements; and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Banking and Treasury Management: Reconcile bank accounts, manage banking transactions, process payroll disbursements, vendor payments, and statutory dues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education and Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance)
- Experience: 4–8 years for MBA (Finance) graduates, 1–2 years for qualified Chartered Accountants (CA)
- Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws; proficiency in Zoho Books, Microsoft Navision, and Zoho Payroll; strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas); analytical thinking and high attention to detail; effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
