The Worldwide Sales Enablement Team
The Worldwide Sales Enablement team is responsible for developing trainings, managing the execution of consistent global strategies, programs, and methods that technically and professionally enable the Sales and Solution Partners to successfully and reliably implement BMC solutions in the marketplace.
About the Position
- You will lead and manage a team of instructional designers, providing vision, direction, guidance, development, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and solutions.
- Strong people management and project management skills, with the ability to effectively allocate resources, manage individuals/team, track progress/performance, and proactively solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- You will collaborate with various executives, SMEs, stakeholders, and consultants and lead review meetings.
- Provide thought-leadership on ID approaches and recommend solutions for internal training for employees globally.
- Continuously review feedback and data and assess the effectiveness of the learning experience and solution design to make improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in ID and incorporate innovative approaches into our learning experiences and solutions while inspiring others to do the same.
- Mentor, coach, and develop others on ID approaches and adult learning methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills and the ability to interact across levels.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during peak periods in order to meet deadlines.
- Work effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision and within a team environment to significantly contribute to the success of the team.
- Possess a customer-centric and innovative mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects.
- Experience in corporate environments and navigating matrixed organizational charts working closely with global teams in various geographies.
- Proactively investigate and mitigate risks, coordinating with team members and others to resolve issues, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging creativity and excellence in ID.
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience managing ID team(s) and/or a content development team designing multi-modal learning solutions.
- 8+ years in an ID role and/or related role(s), preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Ability to independently and effectively multitask in a dynamic matrix environment and participate, contribute, and lead multiple efforts with stakeholders across the globe.
- Ability to travel as required building product/solution skills and acting as an instructor when necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Word, Excel), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond (formerly Go Animate). Strong video creation, editing, and publishing skills are highly valued.
- Cross-Functional/Deliverable focus – Reporting & Data Analysis, Knowledge Management, and Customer-facing Collaterals.
- Ability to effectively communicate up and down the organization and with liaison partners.
- Experience with latest learning methodologies such as microlearning, game-based learning, and VR/AR will be desirable.
