About the Role
Johnson Controls, a leading provider of smart and sustainable buildings, seeks an experienced Instructional Design Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to apply their expertise in designing and developing innovative learning solutions that support the company's global commercial enablement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive and creative learning solutions that improve the performance of sales organizations worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop effective training programs.
- Lead the development of sales enablement materials, including training programs, sales tools, and performance support resources.
- Partner with commercial learning experience designers to drive global consistency and quality in learning solutions.
- Act as an internal consultant to combine multiple perspectives into holistic solutions that maximize business impact.
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and issues in instructional design and training.
- Understand technology to effectively design learning and performance support tools.

What We Look For
- 8-12 years of experience in designing and developing learning solutions, with exposure to commercial/sales and industrial tech B2B solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design and storyboarding, with a strong understanding of adult learning theory and experience working in the training and e-learning industry.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in stakeholder communication and collaboration.
- A bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or education, with a graduate or PG degree from a recognized university.
