Key Performance Indicator: Factory Logistics Operations

We aim to produce lithium-ion battery products that cater to the needs of various industries.

The role of Factory Logistics Operations Manager is crucial in achieving our goal. You will lead a team responsible for designing and developing NMC technology for various formats of battery cells manufactured in our Gigafactory.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables as per production plans.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production using materials handling equipment like RGV, AGV, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, and Conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting/de-palletizing, palletizing, packing, material issuance, internal scrap movement, and other tasks.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Move various scrap (haz and non-haz) to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, SCM, and others to fulfill business requirements.
  • Ensure required entries and documentation are maintained as per standard operating procedure.
  • Adhere to established standards.
  • Maintain and issue PPEs and consumables.

Objective Metrics:

  • Ensure the right materials are delivered to production at the right time and in the right place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to material unavailability.
  • Train manpower to use related equipment efficiently.
