The role

Own day-to-day production of custom kids' furniture at our factory—people, machines, material and quality. You'll turn drawings into defect-free dispatches, on time, every time.

What you'll own

  • Plan, schedule and supervise all production lines (beds/lofts, wardrobes, study units, play modules).
  • Drive manpower efficiency: line balancing, daily targets, shift roster, attendance, overtime control; provide salary inputs to HR.
  • Enforce stage-wise QC and final inspection as per drawings/specs & Magical Nest standards; approve First Article; sign-off packing lists.
  • Maintain machines & utilities (panel saw, edge-bander, CNC/router, boring/drilling lines, sanding, spray/PU booth, hot press).
  • MDF/HDF handling expertise: cutting, edging, joinery, lamination, PU/paint finishing; knowledge of hardware (Hettich/Häfele).
  • Material control: yield optimisation, inventory accuracy, rejection analysis & CAPA.
  • Safety & compliance: 5S, PPE, housekeeping, preventive maintenance calendars.
  • Daily production MIS: output, efficiency, rework, on-time dispatch; coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams.
  • Train and upskill operators; standardise SOPs and work instructions.

Must-haves

  • 5+ years running interior/furniture factories or workshops end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience with MDF and modern woodworking machinery.
  • Strong grasp of drawings, tolerances, joinery, finishes & hardware.
  • Team leadership on the shop floor; target/quality ownership.
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; basic ERP/MIS comfort.

Good to have

  • Experience in kids' furniture/interiors or modular systems.
  • Exposure to lean/5S, continuous improvement, and PU paint shops.
