Operations Manager Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of our plastic recycling facilities. This includes managing production teams, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and implementing processes to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network with various companies, vendors, and stakeholders to identify sources of good-quality raw materials.
  • Manage the segregation of scrap based on quality standards.
  • Oversee site-level production teams to ensure production meets targets.
  • Suggest go-to-market strategies for sales.
  • Work with partners to add value to feedstock by converting it into washed flakes or granules.
  • Create a market for different items of plastic waste.
  • Manage factory compliance and financial accounts.
  • Implement SOPs for the aggregation, segregation, QA, and QC of plastic waste.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Plastics Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations.
  • Good understanding of plastics and plastic recycling.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Multitasking ability, managing multiple projects to drive results.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to our mission.
  • Fluent in English and Tamil.
