Job Title: Production CoordinatorDescription

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, material management, and inventory control. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, forecasting raw materials and packaging needs, and monitoring capacity planning to avoid bottlenecks. Additionally, this role involves calculating and sharing detailed material requirements with the purchase/procurement team, tracking material lead times, and ensuring just-in-time availability for production.

The successful candidate will also maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to support production schedules and customer demand. They will conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstocking. Furthermore, they will analyze inventory turnover rates and implement strategies for inventory optimization.

This role also involves tracking production progress, maintaining real-time updates of production performance metrics, and preparing dashboards and periodic reports for management to enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in production planning, material and inventory management, and ERP-based reporting, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.

Key skills and qualifications include proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MIS reporting tools, advanced knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and inventory control techniques.
