Airfield and Landside Infrastructure Specialist

The Airport Infrastructure Design Engineer is responsible for the detailed design of airfield and landside infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, aircraft stands, roads, and parking facilities.
This role involves preparing geometric designs for runways, taxiways, aprons, stands, airside roads, access roads, and parking layouts. Additionally, developing grading plans, cut-and-fill calculations, and earthworks balance for airside and landside areas are crucial tasks.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for producing Design drawings and BoQs (Bills of Quantities) extracted from BIM models. Furthermore, designing airfield and landside signing & marking layouts in accordance with international standards is essential.
Experience with simulation tools such as AviPLAN and BIM tools like Navisworks, Civil 3D is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of international aviation and road design standards, ability to apply codes and standards directly in design solutions, and solid understanding of aircraft operational envelopes are required.
