Position: Airfield Ground Lighting Engineer

Location: Bengaluru & Pune

Responsibilities:

  • Design airfield ground lighting systems including runway and taxiway designs, civil works, and control.
  • Design approach lighting systems as per reference categories defined by stakeholders, including civil works, control, and profile.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project design and resolve technical issues.
  • Design activities include preparation of reliable electrical designs, tender/construction drawings, documents/specification for:
  • Airfield Ground Lighting system
  • Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring system Architecture and its network distribution from Air Traffic control
  • Electrical Civil works including MV and LV for the complete Airfield network
  • Airside street & fence lighting layouts
  • Apron Lighting Layouts and Calculations
  • Airfield Ground Lighting circuiting layout
  • Constant Current Regulator sizing
  • Electrical substation Equipment Layout including its related Lighting and small power plans
  • Power Supply to the Navigational systems and the Telecom security equipment's.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience of 5-10 years as electrical designer.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
