Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud data pipelines using AWS Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Fivetran.
  • Collaborate with data stakeholders to capture business requirements and define data domain elements.
  • Develop data source lineage reports and identify reference data needs.
  • Recommend data extraction and replication patterns for seamless data migration from on-premises big data environments to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, Redshift.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts by breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, implementing effective timely solutions, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the subject matter.
  • Cultivate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging knowledge of ETL methods, relational databases, and data access techniques, especially SQL.
  • Utilize exceptional collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills to drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas to various audiences.
  • Manage multiple priorities and initiatives while optimizing the use of all available resources.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, particularly with S3, Snowflake, and Python.
  • Strong background in Shell scripting, with expertise in managing projects involving multiple tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Proven track record of successfully migrating relational and dimensional databases to AWS Cloud platform.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
