Job Title: Data Engineer with Expertise in Cloud Technologies We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies to join our team.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer who can design, develop and implement data solutions using Azure cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets, as well as creating and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions and triggers. They will also have a deep understanding of data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Designing and developing data solutions using Azure cloud technologies
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Extracting data from various sources and consolidating it into a data warehouse or lake
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes using tools like SSIS and ADF
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through thorough testing and validation
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical debt remediation and refactoring of existing data structures and stored procedures

Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10 years of experience working with SQL Servers and relational databases
  • Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets
  • Expertise in data engineering or related roles
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
