We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead risk governance, operational control, and compliance oversight within a global organization.

This role encompasses both first-line and second-line responsibilities, partnering with HR, risk, and corporate teams. It demands strong risk oversight, process control, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work across HR operations and enterprise-wide risk frameworks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Embed robust risk & control practices into HR processes and workflows.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risk within HR processes.
  • Provide independent challenge and advisory support to HR teams on control effectiveness.
  • Oversight of HR governance and control frameworks across regional and global teams.
  • Facilitate regular interaction between first-line and second-line teams to align on risk priorities.
  • Monitor and expand risk-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); use data analytics to inform recommendations.
  • Conduct threshold testing, monitoring, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Development and maintenance of risk dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior HR and Risk leaders.
  • Enhance control methods to prevent significant operational risk events.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning for HR.
  • Track and report HR cost and expense accruals, preparing monthly/quarterly analysis.
  • Management of creation and refresh of Statements of Work (SOW) between global entities.
  • Delivery of ad-hoc data analysis and executive summaries for management decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years in HR Governance, Risk & Control, or Operational Risk roles in financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) frameworks, RCSA processes, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to improve processes and strengthen control environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in HR Operations within a global bank.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI) at a beginner level.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to automate processes.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and service orientation.
