Job Title: Senior Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in providing end-to-end support for applications built on .NET or PHP.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support for applications built on .NET or PHP, ensuring seamless execution and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and server-related issues, applying your knowledge of SQL and relational databases to identify root causes.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and deployment activities to optimize system efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage Windows Server OS, including configuration, monitoring, and patching, to ensure stability and security.
  • Create and maintain documentation across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, promoting transparency and collaboration among team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in application support with .NET or PHP, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with expertise in querying, indexing, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with WAMP stack and related technologies, including Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to both .NET and PHP environments, with experience in migration and integration projects.
  • Experience in performance monitoring tools and automated deployment processes, such as Ansible or Puppet.

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with cross-functional teams and possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. A strong background in SDLC documentation and troubleshooting techniques is also essential.
