Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development & Documentation:
    • Prepare project design documents (PDD/PD, PoA-DD, Monitoring Reports) that ensure accuracy and transparency.
    • Coordinate validation/verification with regulatory bodies to guarantee compliance.
  • Registry & Standards Management:
    • Manage project submissions on platforms like Verra, Gold Standard, CDM, GCC, Cercarbono, and Ecoregistry to maximize credit issuance.
    • Track project status, credit issuance timelines, and registry compliance to minimize delays.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis:
    • Research emerging carbon market trends, Article 6 developments, and ICVCM/CORSIA guidelines to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Benchmark carbon credit prices across voluntary and compliance markets to optimize returns.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Liaise with project developers, assurance bodies, and carbon credit buyers to build strong relationships.
    • Prepare decks, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to communicate effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A bachelor's/master's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Policy, Sustainability, or a related field is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience with carbon credit projects under one or more standards/registries is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of GHG accounting, MRV frameworks, and additionality principles is essential.
