Lead Culinary Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary team in shaping the menu, refining the culinary experience, and mentoring a team of passionate chefs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Create seasonal and signature menus that align with our unique wood-fired concept and commitment to modern, bold flavors.
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Talent Management: Manage, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive, efficient, and creative environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards, consistently meeting our expectations for taste, presentation, and creativity.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor food costs, waste management, and inventory to ensure profitability without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for restaurant growth, customer satisfaction, and brand identity.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Experience: Proven experience as a senior culinary leader in high-end, modern cuisine.
  • Education: Culinary degree or equivalent formal culinary education.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience in wood-fired cooking or a strong desire to master this unique technique.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen staff.
  • Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Creativity: High level of creativity and an understanding of global culinary trends.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage food cost, budgets, and inventory effectively.
