Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

This role will focus on banking and finance operations.

The ideal candidate will be a self-learner willing to take on any task and a good problem solver.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with banks for banking operations.
  • Assist with daily cash management across various bank accounts.
  • Produce daily MIS on liquidity.
  • Obtain 15CA/CB.
  • Prepare weekly payment summary.
  • Review employee claims.
  • Manage credit cards.
  • Procure licenses.
  • Produce monthly payment reports for accounting.
  • Assist with financing deal execution.
  • Assist with daily portfolio transfers, investor repayments, EMI repayments.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for India, covering disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts.
  • Record journal entries using NetSuite to support timely month-end close.
  • Assist with timely payment of statutory dues.
  • Partner with departments on accruals, vendor management, and contract management.
  • Assist in preparing and communicating timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assist with monthly cash projections.
  • Assist with annual external audit, completing requested materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in finance or related fields.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position.
  • Experience handling banking transactions.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, good understanding of Excel preferred.
