Risk Operations Manager Role

Job Summary: Oversee time-sensitive risk operational activities, develop and implement performance metrics, manage stakeholders, and lead high-impact business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of risk operational activities and its performance metrics, involving policy implementation, underwriting, portfolio reporting, and more.
  • Development, implementation, and governance of performance metrics reporting for the portfolio of programs, providing visibility to milestones and performance across all activities.
  • Management of multiple stakeholders (internal and external) for ensuring end objective delivery, requiring frequent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Identification and setup of new processes by working with cross-functional teams.
  • Design of SOPs and metrics for the new processes being set up.
  • Promotion of continuous improvement culture by identifying process gaps, automating manual error points, and creating monitoring and corrective controls.
  • Leadership of high-impact business activities and ensuring they are delivered within planned timelines and with expected measurable output.
  • Support to team members as-needed to improve processes, provide project intervention, and coaching, etc.

You should apply if you have:

  • 2-4 years of operations experience in NBFCs/Fintechs with strong stakeholder management experience.
  • 2 years of minimum experience working with tech and risk teams.
  • Experience managing prioritization, risk tasks keeping user experience and business requirements in view.
  • Track record of employee development (including an emphasis on selection and retention).
  • Ability to build relationships and influence others without authority.
  • Ability to identify gaps and communicate with tech, product, risk, business, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau, Databricks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
