Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Public Relations Specialist to join our team. As a PR Specialist, you will be tasked with developing and implementing effective public relations strategies, writing and distributing press releases, building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PR Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the company's public image and reputation.
  • Content Creation: Write and distribute high-quality press releases, articles, and other PR materials to engage with key audiences.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders to secure media coverage and promote the company's brand.
  • Crisis Communication: Respond to media inquiries and handle crisis communication as required to protect the company's reputation.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns and content creation to promote brand messaging and engage with target audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in public relations, communications, or media relations (preferably 2+ years).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with key audiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) to manage and analyze media coverage.
