Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Client Manager at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for taking ownership of assigned accounts and managing relationships to drive growth, land, expansion, and renewals across all solutions within those accounts. Your key focus will be on building strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their business requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and grow relationships to drive land, expansion, and renewals across all solutions within assigned accounts.
  2. Pursue leads identified by aligned Lead Generation Representatives.
  3. Minimise churn and maximise retention in assigned accounts.
  4. Drive client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients' buying process.
  5. Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and then effectively articulate how NTT DATA can add value through our services and solutions.
  6. Influence and work closely with vendors to achieve required results.
  7. Use NTT DATA's sales tools and methodology to effectively manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecast.
  8. Take ownership of a range of clients within the assigned segment.
  9. Develop open and effective channels of communication in with each client within the assigned account.
  10. Encourage revenue growth by inspiring clients to additional services.
  11. Become the reliable point of contact for clients that is required to establish a strong business relationship.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  1. Sales business acumen - Skills supporting successful selling through organisational and business outcome mindset. Success will require focusing on planning, leveraging tools and data, and concentrating on NTT DATA business requirements.
  2. Sales client engagement and management - Skills used to effectively manage and analyze the client throughout the client lifecycle, with the goal of improving client relationships and driving sales growth. Success will require detailed understanding of client needs, effective sales planning, and building trust, all while managing to client expectations.
  3. Sales solution skills - Knowledge of NTT DATA's offerings, client applications, use cases and market trends and the skill to apply them to individual client and prospect situations that positions the sales team member as an expert client advisor. Success will require the ability to link NTT DATA offerings, including high-value services to specific client and prospect needs and outcomes.
  4. Sales pursuit - Skills and knowledge that enable a sales team member to create success by identifying and advancing opportunities at assigned prospects and clients. Success will require both individual ownership as well as accountability for coordinating internal and external resources in order to close sales opportunities.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  1. Relevant Degree or Advanced Diploma
  2. Post-graduate qualification would be advantageous
  3. Relevant vendor certifications

Required Experience:

  1. Advanced experience in a similar role in a similar environment
  2. Advanced experience in a sales environment and/or customer service role
  3. Advanced sales and client engagement experience coupled with a good understanding of business, sourcing, and technology markets
  4. Advanced experience negotiating with clients and vendors
  5. Advanced experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales techniques
  6. Experience providing mentoring and coaching to less experienced client managers
  7. Advanced experience analyzing commercial information
  8. Experience working with Salesforce.com contact platform
