Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of SRE Manager.

  • Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, mentoring team members, and leading effective deliveries.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in Unix/Linux systems, Java, Python, and DevOps tools.
  • They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, a systematic approach, and a strong sense of ownership and drive.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scaling systems sustainably through automation and evolving systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Leading the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Preferably 8-12 years of working experience in software development.
  • Strong programming background in any language.
  • Experience working in a Microsoft environment.
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
