Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Leader, you will drive the development and implementation of comprehensive SRE strategies aligned with business goals. You will lead a team of SRE professionals to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of technology solutions.

You will establish observability practices to gain real-time insights into system performance, availability, and customer experience. You will implement monitoring tools, metrics, and dashboards to proactively identify and address potential issues.

You will lead all aspects of the end-to-end production support process, including incident management, problem resolution, and service-level agreement (SLA) compliance. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).

You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to enhance customer journeys through seamless and reliable technology experiences.

You will promote and implement standard methodologies, including error budgeting, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery planning. You will cultivate a culture of resilience and reliability within technology.

You will champion automation initiatives to streamline operational workflows, deployment processes, and incident response tasks. You will leverage automation tools and orchestration to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.

Eligibility Criteria
  • 8-13 years of experience in developing highly available distributed systems
  • Hands-on coding experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Prometheus
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or other ticketing tools, ITIL experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving culture change, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement in SRE and production support functions
  • Deep understanding of observability tools and methodologies, including experience with logging, monitoring, tracing, and performance analysis platforms
