We are seeking an exceptional leader who will:

  • Foster collaboration and drive decision making across all engineering aspects of their team.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for areas under their ownership.
  • Promote best practices in engineering within their team.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of production systems (engineering and processes) for areas under their ownership.
  • Oversee the overall health of business operations directly managed by their team.
  • Challenge product outcomes, translate feedback into actionable steps and ensure accountability for engineering deliverables.
  • Lead the recruitment, mentorship and retention of top-notch engineers.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including but not limited to product, operations and clients/vendors.
  • Identify synergies and develop products that benefit the organization as a whole in achieving its objectives.

As a leader, you must possess:

  • Proven expertise in designing and developing simple to complex solutions with experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
  • A proven track record of building and managing high-performing software development teams.
  • Practical experience and ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems alongside other senior team members.
  • ~9+ years of software development experience and 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Led a team of 10+ engineers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience in startups and fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
