Job Title:

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Debt Syndication Specialist to oversee our debt syndication operations. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of liaisoning with banks and financial institutions, managing loan documentation, and structuring debt solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire process of debt syndication, including structuring, preparing, presenting, and negotiating loan proposals with banks and financial institutions.
  • Assist clients in accessing funding through government schemes for SMEs/MSMEs, ensuring maximum benefit utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and rating agencies to facilitate approvals and successful deal closures.
  • Oversight of preparation, review, and submission of loan documentation, ensuring compliance with all banking, RBI, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on financial products, government incentives, lending policies, and interest rate trends to provide clients with informed borrowing strategies.
  • Collaboration with internal teams to gather necessary financial data, business projections, and supporting documents for proposals.
  • Continuously expand and strengthen relationships with lenders, government agencies, and ecosystem partners to access diverse financing options.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA/Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Commerce.
  • 5-6 years of experience in debt syndication, corporate finance, or banking.
  • Strong expertise in SME/MSME government schemes and their practical application in financing.
  • Proven track record of successfully syndicating loans and managing end-to-end financing transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of loan structures, credit assessment, financial documentation, and compliance.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with CXOs and bankers.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • A robust network of banking and financial services contacts.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions independently and deliver within tight timelines.
